Welcome to the "Working with Strings in Python" course. We're very happy to have you here with us!

This course is intended for people who know some basic Python concepts but would like to become proficient at working with strings, or text values. If you're not familiar with Python, we encourage you to complete our Python Basics course before you start.

In either case, we're going to do a quick recap of string basics before we move on to new concepts.
